My beach day is over.
Up on the porch away from the sun
hiding away from the sand, wind and beach fun
Eyes are so dry
Itching, burning, starting to cry
This chronic dry eye is no fun at all
Thank gosh for the shade, drops and cover
My cocktail and book keep me company
It could be worse, I hear the waves crash in the distance, the sun is shining. I am here!
