Never a vacation

Writer: Tracy KearcherTracy Kearcher

I just came back from my run/walk on the boardwalk. I couldn't help thinking about the younger pre-leukemia version of me. How I could jog 8 miles without thinking twice. Now before I do any type of exercise I need to do my back and hip stretch routine. Of course that's after applying my routine of eye drops and making sure I always have my moisturizing drops on hand. I am not complaining since I am more than thrilled to be alive. It's just alot!

I am also constantly on alert for my kidos on the spectrum. Will the new experiences they face be too much? Am I providing them with enough support? What else can I do to help them soar? It's hard relaxing when you face these challenges every single day. Thank gosh for my family, friends and faith! #livingthegoodfight #leukemiawarrior
