/ MY STORY

In March of 2017 my life changed overnight. I was diagnosed with an aggressive strand of AML Leukemia. I had always led a healthy lifestyle. Dying at the age of 35 with two young children just wasn't an option. I went through two rounds of chemotherapy and still wasn't in remission. My family, friends, complete strangers and I prayed like we have never prayed before. We finally received good news when my sister was a perfect stem cell match! I underwent a stem cell transplant on June 22, 2017. While I was homebound recovering baking became my therapy. When I was working on my custom decorated sugar cookies, I stopped focusing on my pain and worries. I love contributing to a cause so near and dear to my family that's why I donate 10% of my proceeds from each and every cookie order to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Please subscribe to my blog and join me on  my journey.
