You Don't Ever Get Over It, You Get Through It

This morning a friend of mine at prayer group said a quote that I thought was profound, "You don't ever get over it, you get through it". This rings so true to me. Everything that has happened in my life has shaped me into the mother, wife and daughter I am today. Every heartache, pain and prayer has made the person I am. I can dwell on everything that I have lost from vision, mobility and time or I can say today is a new day full of possibilities! If I dwell on the past, I will only miss out future possibilities. Keep moving forward as Willie Nelson says. "life goes on and on when it's gone it lives in someone new, love is just a thing we get to do" . I say AMEN to that!
